The current Ethiopian Government of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, in less than six months, may be replaced by a new Government and New Leaders because of the scheduled National Election slotted for Nehase 22 and 23, 2012 (August 28 and 29, 2020).It is absolutely unconscionable for any Government that may not be in office in less than six months to agree and sign to a major multilateral Treaty. It can lead to major conflict when the new Ethiopian Government is in power. TPLF and its Leadership
The TPLF is another serious challenge to the integrity and national security of Ethiopia not because it might side with Egypt, but because it created and become a ‘fifth columnist’ faction that is outside the chain of command of the Federal Government Leadership of Abiy Ahmed. It will be absurd for TPLF to undermine the completion and operation of the GERD, the creation of its own deceased leader Meles Zenawi. Moreover, the hostility of the Leaders of TPLF toward the current Ethiopian Government tantamount to collaborating with a foreign enemy.
