With all this 'development' coming to tigray, a sane person would think the tegarus do all they can to close the roads (border) with Eritrea, so that the number one enemy of tigray (Eritreans) will salivate from far away.
It is mind boggling as much as they hate us (mutual) that they are begging for the border to be opened.

That is true; TPLF did that! Not only that, they claimed the lion's credit for Eritrean Independence undermining EPLF's determination so to speak. Eritrea has to be mad at that, not to mention, locking PFDJ in no war no peace situation for more than a decade. In other words, TPLF had more than one fault line with PFDJ, to make it very angry at Sebhat and company.
One can say, PFDJ left on its own without TPLF interference, would probably have devised a better living arrangement with the rest of Ethiopia as they're trying to do today. It is obvious TPLF in a way wasted 30 years of Eritreans/Ethiopians life; that is inexcusable crime against humanity.
