I just was watching one of them tegarus tv and one dumb as*s agame journalist was wishing evil to his own country which is ethiopia.

Said him:
" If president Isayas concern is about Eritrea, how come he doesn't ask PMAA about why Ethiopia needs naval base than talk about the stupid Badime"

Wow, as ethiopians, even if Eritrea offers Ethiopia's naval base stationed in Eritrea (which it is not by the way) shouldn't tegarus be happy that Ethiopia has naval base, or even nuclear weapons?
What is PMAA waiting. An Uber.
He should give them the ultimatum to decide and cheer for their country Ethiopia or push them towards Eritrea's borders so that we can have a legit reason to finish them.

It is freaking amazing to see or hear that woyane and its journalists are openly telling Ethiopia to go f**k it self.

You see, there is an old TPLF principle on the Eritrean Question; they feel they have always supported Eritrea's independent more than the "Wishy-washy" EPLF; some even claim of paying more price in the war of liberation than EPLF itself.

In the beginning, when TPLF were in Dedebit, they made Marxist Leninist prediction that Issu/EPLF is a petty bourgeois group who would betray the "revolution" & make deals with the Devil Derg. They made sure that "unholy" compromise was never made.

Lo and behold, Issu even after Eritrea's secession, suggested of a possible "confederation" with Ethiopia. What? They weren't surprised! Meles must have said, I told you so! And everyone laughed. Isaias was put between a rock and a hard place. He is still shy putting "confederation" forward because he is afraid of hard liners folks like Cigar of this forum.

TPLF made sure that kind of idea was never entertained again; they finally pushed & locked Eritrea to no peace no war! Mission accomplished! The rest is history.

Now, Isaias/PFDJ have an upper hand to pursue what ever they want. Ethiopian Navy is an insult to TPLF to say the least. On the other thread, Halafi mentioned Adulis Port for his discovered gas export. That's the dream of some his old friends in TPLF.

So, if Eritrea offers a Port for an Ethiopian Navy, it shall kick start an economic integration of over 2 billion dollars kind just by that alone. A lot of activities of trade shall commence immediately; The Port can be designed to be a multi purpose which would accelerate "prosperity" for all. Only god knows Eritrean and Ethiopians need it!

Isn't it Meles, who in his interview at the end of the 1980's with his CIA handler (Paul Henze) said: "Eritrea will have a religious problem a-la Lebanon soon, because it's evenly divided b/n Christians & Muslims?"

The TPLF accepted the Eritreans right to a referendum for self determination, eventhough the outcome was a given. At the end of the day, the Eritrean people were the deciders- not the EPLF. So even if PIA talked about a "confederation" or not, he couldn't possibly have achieved it, without the green light from the Eritrean people.

The tplf's acceptance, was tactical. Accept the Eritrean will, then later come & swallow the country; as we saw in 1998. Your wishy-washy position & attitude about Ethiopia and your identity as Ethiopians, is what has created all these problems. Payback time is soon here, though.

If Isaias admitted of failure of the Education system and the destroying of the Ports of Massawa/Assab. It is all good and obvious.

By land locking Ethiopia, with 40 or more sub standard Universities built, now becoming selected killing/hostaging fields of citizens, we are not any better off either. In fact doing what Isaias did, shutting some of them for good is probably what needs to be done.

In other words, It is becoming apparent today that the Unitary Government of PFDJ has continued the best of old Ethiopia.

Ethnic Federation has failed. If it wasn't for the insecurity of EPLFites, Isaias should pursue and propose POLITICAL integration with their old country based on PFDJ principles (Unitary State). PFDJ, OLF, p2 and EZEMA can form one large Party.

Isaias/PFDJ should be given the role of re-drawing Ethiopia in administrative zones in mind as they have the best experience in that matter. Dr. Abiy/p2 will concentrate in the economic side of the government since they've better exposure in that area.
