Huge conflict in Alamata today between Tigrai special forces and the Raya Alamata ppl
A sporting event that was suppose to be peaceful and promote brotherhood ended up being a show of brutal crackdown by Tigrai special forces in Raya Alamata, former Wello region. The Raya team was winning the game against Shiraro when the Adowan special forces started attacking the people of Raya. The Raya Alamata people are once again showing defiance in the face of brutal crack down by Adowan special forces. Many sport fans, including a pregnant woman and a seven year old boy, rooting for Raya team have been attacked with bullet and club and taken to hospitals. Sad !!
