I got two things to say, first is most of adi nefas residents are not even pure hamassiens let alone eritrean. And second thing is no general ever does coup de tat specially in africa. For example mengustu was a coloniel and gaddafi was coloniel and bashir was coloniel and hero wedi ali was coloniel, the problem with generals is they are too spoiled and the dictator made them to do so much crimes against their people and he alienated them from the rest of the public even their relatives don't trust them. So if coup will happen i put my money on the coloniels because coloniels don't live a lavish life they are one with the general public and soldiers. Btw that man himself was a coloniel and tank driver, how about he leads a revolution against the same isias afewerki from tigrai that he helped to put on power against the will of the eritrean people.
