Half-cooked OLF way back took a tactical decision to distance it self from the "shane" armed group. The idea was that on one side it want to look peaceful political party , on the other hand Shane not only robbing Banks, 18 to be exact , and started putting pressure on Abey government to influence the political trajectory of the country. As all things with limited supply the patience of wellega people run-out, and called the government to act.
Act the government did. well, Things didn't work out as always for OLF, Abiy started pummeling the Shane, and OLF tactic of hear no evil see no evil became an attainable . Daud ibsa can't go on pretending oblivious while the pinch hurts . So now they are accusing the government human right abuse, independence committee to look into it etc etc. Where were they more than 40 government officials gun down in daylight, where were they girls age 12-13 get raped all over. Where were they when business was forced to pay shanie's tax gun on their head. የሚሉሽን በሰማሽ ገበያም ባልወጣሽ. Debacle is an innate nature of OLF which is well ingrained in its DNA. This useless bloodbloodletting organization will die out of its own accord. .
