Re: የታገቱት ተማሪዎች ጉዳይ ! [VOA]
It looks like Abiy Ahimed's regime is backtracking its claim of who abducted the students. OLF has been saying it's the handy work of Colonel Abiy Ahimed's drama.

Hmm...
Yes, "missing students" is the correct description of the situation because we don't really know if they are missing of their own free will and or some how forced by some one.
Even in all the western democracies lots of children go missing, some times of their own free will but at other times forced. In all cases police get informed and asked for help to list such person/persons as missing and then conduct search to locate the missing. In the case of voluntary disappearance the police will never disclose the whereabouts of the missing even if the police knows perfectly well and talked to the disappeared because then the disclosure violets the privacy and human rights of the voluntarily disappeared persons.
Only under aged persons can be taken back by police to their families whether these under aged like it or not. In the case of adults only the voluntarily disappeared individuals and or groups can communicate with their families, friends and the community if they so desire or else they can stay anonymous for ever even if police knows their whereabouts perfectly well and they don't commit crimes or become part of criminal activities. This means that you have the right to disappear and stay anonymous if you are not planning crimes and or joining verified criminal groups. That is why it is not necessary to go public with wild, fake and cheap propaganda "Revelations" and bark even before knowing about the situation on the ground. Okay? Okay!
