this look like hate speech to those wasteland people but had the Eritrean leased not Assab port but new port area for Ethiopia to lease for next 99 years .... and share the income with the Afar people and fed. the government in Assmara and make two billion dollars without working .. now tell me, how in hell Eritrea would be harmed by leasing their port area to Ethiopia, and Ethiopia developed a new port and give the Afar people job .. no Ethiopians will come and work in this port hence all the jobs will be taken by Eritrean beside few Ethiopians just like Djibouti port. Egypt has 41 port small and big .. that is the only way Eritrea can take back their port income from Djibouti by being more cost-effective and attractive

another thing Eritrean will never listen so it is better to lease port from Somalia, and Djibouti in addition of Djibouti port .... even lease port from sudan too. this way everything is cover for next 100 years..
