DeQi,
I do know from day one that you are a bigot and a muslim hater. It is a sickness !!!

You shamelessly acknowledged in several of your posts that you trust the tigryans (ethiopians!!! Cousins quoting you) More than a lowlander eritrean. Man! Definitely many eris have read that and were shocked.

Don't be a hater. Eritrea belongs to all of us the 9 jeganu biherat who had shed blood equally to free eritrea.

Finally,

Show respect for our many jeberti martyr brothers who had fallen fighting for eritrea's independence.

Deqi,

I don't know much about Girmay's politics. But what little I learnt is that he was all Jebha from the get go. He was born and grew up in Akrya Asmara among the Jeberty population. He had a lot of connections with Italians as well. Actually, Jebha Abay had far more connections with Eritrean artists than Shaebya back in the 70's. Eritrean artists like Osman, Bereket, Haile, Yemane and many others joined Jebha in the mid seventies. That is his background. He fought for Jebha even as civilian early on. He defined himself as political activist not a muscian. For him, music was a vehicle to political activism. Religion did not matter to him as well. He saw in EPLF as divisive not cohesive elements. As such some will love him, others will hate him. No matter how one feels about him, he was consumed with Eritrea.

Deqi,

Here is an interesting fact,
Bereket and Alamin joined the winner EPLF. Osman, Ghirmay and many others remained as Jebha sympathizers. Yemane, my hero was willing to give EPLF a chance. Yemane was always about the interest of the Eritrean people. I am closer to Bereket but Yemane was the man. BTW, the street smart dude in Alamin, double crossed both Osman and Ghirmay at one time or another.
