Re: Ethiopia will use drones in the war against Eritrea
The man declared openly: "The Red Sea is ours, inherited from our fathers (Menelik and Haile Selassie, both of them are great leaders of the Oromo)." You can ignore Addis Ababa's warnings, but you cannot avoid the consequences of war.

Re: The Gurage Sultanate 1201-1345
Okay, tell me about the origin of the Gurage people, where did they come from or where were they before Emperor Menelik? and the percentage of Muslims among them. Don't include the Selte people.

Re: The Gurage Sultanate 1201-1345
The majority of Gurage people are Christians, particularly followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Also Gugage origin is Eritrea. So how can you claim that they were Muslims and in Arusi land 10 centuries ago? If so, what and who converted them to Christianity, Are you saying Gurage is...

Is Hadush Kebatu Tigray or Oromo?
Hadush Kebatu was jailed after sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and a woman while living in an asylum hotel in Epping, and then deported to Ethiopia. There is no reliable information to confirm whether Hadush Kebatu is ethnically Tigray or Oromo, but his name (Hadush Kebatu) raises questions ...

Re: The Gurage Sultanate 1201-1345
The Sultanate of Arababni was a small Muslim Kilil (Sultanate) located in the region that corresponds roughly to the modern Arsi Zone in the Oromo Region. t was founded and ruled by the Somali people, particularly the Hawiye and Dir clans, along with six other sultanates. At that time Oromo people ...

Re: Which country is Abiy Ahmed most likely to seek refuge?
Why do you think Abiy will seek refuge in Azerbaijan? Despite the secret arms deals between Ethiopia and Azerbaijan, I don't think Abiy Ahmed will seek refuge in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is not a traditional haven for high-profile exiles from Africa, and it doesn’t have deep historical ties with Ethi...

Wondering about the choices given 1. China. Will not take this risk and alienate Ethiopians - it will cost China, such as investment. 2. Eritrea Is this a country? Why not Wolega, Harargahe province. Have ever run to a demolished or ruined and roofless home to protect yourself from a torrenti...

Re: Which country is Abiy Ahmed most likely to seek refuge?
To be clear, the man is a security expert and knows when and where to go and seek asylum. Some of these countries currently have poor relations with Ethiopia (such as Eritrea), while others have legal institutions (such as South Africa), and he may be held accountable for genocide in Amhara, Tigray...

Which country is Abiy Ahmed most likely to seek refuge?
Recently, heads of state (Bangladesh, Syria, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Madagascar, to name a few) have fled their countries due to political pressure from their people. Mengistu, Abiy's brother, also fled the country. Abiy Ahmed feels unsure and worried because of the problems and conflicts with the Am...

Who are Abiye's advisors from his tribe?
Among these fake advisors who work directly under Abiye Ahmed’s administration are the following individuals: 1. Ibrahim Tufa: Oromo from Arusi sub-tribe, a graduate of the Faculty of Sharia from Saudi Arabia, and Advisor to the Abiye for Muslims & Christians affairs 2. Mohamed Al-Arousi: Oromo fro...

Re: At This Time of Amhara Elites Destabilizing Dr. Abiy’s Regime, All Oromo Elites Should Support and Stabilize the PM!
Completely agree with you. There were many factors that enabled the Oromo to lead the country, but they failed to unite their people and thus failed to lead the country. So the only option for Oromo leaders and elites to protect future of their people and country is to leave power and rule to those...

Re: Oromo officials use Habesha & Muslim names to mislead Ethiopians & Arabs
I would be grateful if anyone could share the names of those Oromos in government and in Merkatu who use Habesha or Muslim names, but not Habeshas and Muslims. Never trust Tigray politicians who kiss children and women, whose eyebrows meet in the middle.

Oromo officials use Habesha & Muslim names to mislead Ethiopians & Arabs
A new and complex challenge facing Ethiopians and Muslim countries is the Oromo officials, politicians, and traders with Habesha and Muslim names, and the problem is the complete lack of knowledge of their real names, ethnicity, and religion. So if you see someone with names like Tsegaye, Getachew,...

Re: How many Aba Gadas converted to Christianity ?
The Irreecha festival and the Abbaa Gadaa system does not belong to all people who currently claim to be Oromo but to certain tribes and groups. Both Irreecha festival and the Abbaa Gadaa system are religious practices. The Aruso and Hararghe Muslims, as well as Gurage and Kerreyu, do not share the...
